The Toronto Blue Jays don take kindly to green men.

This can be a funny thing to understand, true. But it is what my brave colleague Brendan Kennedy and that i discovered whenever we threw our dignity to the wind on Thursday evening.
Inspired by the virally popular bleacher antics from the Vancouver Canucks beloved green men Force and Sully, we thought we try livening up the drowsy stands at the Rogers Centre with a little Cirque du Soleil-esque cavorting of our own. In the end, no one knows who behind those Technicolor leotards. I took a benefit to tradition sake; Brendan chosen the more contextually appropriate blue. We swallowed our pride, briefly contemplated stuffing our underpants, zipped up and off we went. Game time!
It remarkable how quickly one self-consciousness slips away once sealed in a RootSuit. It totally liberating. So, we zipped our heads back on, rose to the feet during the 7th-inning stretch and attempted to lead Section 231 in an interpretive dance to the Blue Jays theme song.
