KAISERSLAUTERN, Germany, June 24 () -- The German procurement agency has ordered 100 Eagle V Protected Command Vehicles from General Dynamics European Land Systems.The vehicles for the German military's GFF Klasse 2 program will be jointly manufactured by company facilities in Germany and Switzerland.The monetary value of the award was not disclosed but General Dynamics said deliveries begin this year and continue through 2015 if all options are exercised. Among those options are one for an additional 76 vehicles.The vehicle can be used for a variety of missions through the use of modular add-on kits.
