Another Republican for Mulberry Outlet anarchy,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych]
ONE MONTH a Republican,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], and I can't wait to get back to the party of Hillary and Bill and Al and the other Bill,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], the one who used to have an outside shot. That's how painful this presidential primary has been. How backward is the Republican Party? The GOP has taken us into a new millennium with a primary based on religious war - and between different groups of Christians,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], of all things. George W. Bush spoke at South Carolina's Bob Jones University,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], whose president,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], Bob Jones III,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], described Catholicism and Mormonism as "cults which call themselves Christian." Young Mulberry Outlet Bush was speaking at a "university" opposed to universal human and religious rights. John McCain and the press hung him out to dry for it. Over and over and over again. Never trust a university that calls itself Bob. Ever since that speech, Bush has been defending himself,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], saying he isn't an anti-Catholic bigot,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], and finally apologizing to the nation and especially Cardinal O'Connor of New York, a state filled with voting Catholics. Just when I thought Bush was toast,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], up popped McCain from the other slot in the toaster. He condemned the fundamentalist influence on the Republican Party and called Pat Robertson and Jerry Falwell "evil." A lot of lefties might agree. But Robertson and Falwell are just attention-getting buffoons,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], not Hitlers or even Darth Vaders. Falwell is afraid of Teletubbies, for crying out loud. And believe it or not,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], most fundamentalist Christians are good people,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], not to mention good Republicans. Is McCain as crazy as Bush is stupid? Does McCain think we're stupid? He claimed he was just joking when he called Falwell and Robertson "evil." You know, like when he jokes around with that word "gook." Give us a better excuse,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], John. I meant 'vile,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych],' not 'evil.' No,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], no,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], I meant 'live.' " What the heck is going on in Mulberry Hobo this party,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], and why do they call it conservative? Bush and McCain are fighting for the right to be called the true heir to Ronald Reagan. When I think of that most genial of presidents,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], I'm glad of one mercy. At least he's not following any of this. My original motivation in registering Republican was not just to lower my handicap or increase my net worth. The idea was to sabotage the Republican leadership that gave us a disgusting impeachment and a nonentity son of a Bush to be coronated as president. The only votes that count toward delegates in Tuesday's open primary are votes by registered Republicans,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], so I thought I'd vote for the insurgent against the anointed. I knew McCain is just as conservative as Bush,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], if not more so. He's against gay rights and women's right to abortion,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], and he received a 100-percent rating from the Christian Coalition,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], presumably in one of its less evil moments. But McCain is interesting - too interesting,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], as it turned out. The insurgent surged as the nation grasped for a genuine hero as president. Americans periodically do that, usually getting a Franklin Pierce or a Ulysses S. Grant,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], and only once getting a George Washington. McCain also has the appeal of a straight-shooter,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], even if he occasionally shoots straight from the lip to the foot. Democrats and independents have turned out in droves for the man who would beat the Bush,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], and could put Al Gore through the wood-chipper. After McCain's victory in Michigan I thought I'd better vote for Bush as the lesser of the two candidates who would Mulberry UK pack the Supreme Court with Clarence Thomases. Boy George is so painful to listen to (what does he store in his mouth,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], pecans?) that by November voters will be screaming for Al Gore to loosen the collar on that earth-tone shirt and tell them all about what he and Tipper think about clinical depression. Now I don't think I'll vote for either Bush or McCain. They don't need me to sabotage them. They haven't talked much about issues that Californians care about. In fact, they barely came to California,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], and during Thursday's debate,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], McCain appeared via TV screen like Bill Gates without the charisma. In the last month,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], we've heard more about Bob Jones University than health care,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], Social Security and the high price of putting kids through real universities,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], like the University of California, which many Republicans consider useful only as an affirmative action punching bag. By now I doubt that McCain and Bush want to continue their little religious war, but if they do,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], it'll be like Iran versus Iraq. I won't choose sides Mulberry factory shop. I can't quite stomach being a Gore Republican either. Maybe I'll vote for the Green Party guy in the black suit, Ralph Nader. If I want to mix religion with politics,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], I'll take a real puritan.
