The Shape Ups have replaced every other tennis shoe which i have tried through the years as far as comfort go. They're actually better on my feet than my custom made orthodics, that we don't even need to wear in the Shape Ups. I haven't seen any change in my tone of muscle or any decrease in cellulite or muscle function/definition however for people with flat feet and/or plantar faciitis I'd HIGHLY recommend them!
